ActiveCampaign Analytics and Reporting

As a result, we’re proud to share a few ways that DataHero customers can use our self-service platform to easily create charts, reports, and dashboard from your ActiveCampaign analytics to dive deeper into your marketing or sales data.

We hear all the time that everyone from business owners of small companies to Line of Business managers at Fortune 500 companies are struggling with finding easy to use solutions to quickly create intuitive reporting from marketing and sales CRM data. Native platforms like ActiveCampaign excel when it comes to managing and automating your email marketing or marketing campaign efforts. But they often leave a lot to be desired when it comes to creating custom reports, diving deeper into your results, or getting disparate information all in one place. That’s where DataHero really allows you to easily take ownership over your ActiveCampaign analytics — all without the need for data analysts or external BI teams.

To get started, simply connect your ActiveCampaign account using your API credentials, which can be found in your ActiveCampaign account on the My Settings page under the ‘Developer’ tab. You’ll need both your ActiveCampaign URL as well as your API Key to get connected.

Make sure you follow the instructions that ActiveCampaign provides in order to successfully connect your service, including specifying version 3 of the API and using HTTPS.




Once you’ve successfully authenticated and connected to ActiveCampaign, DataHero will then allow you to pull in your ActiveCampaign data including Contacts, Deals, and Campaigns, without the need for external data warehouses, SQL queries, or complicated code or scripts. From there, it’s simply a matter of creating charts of the insights that you’re looking for using DataHero’s drag-and-drop chart creation interface.





Many of our customers use us to dive deeper into their email marketing campaigns to surface up insights across their Contacts and Campaigns data. Others are creating sales reports across their sales pipelines, using Deals information to provide better clarity to sales managers and executives on deal flow. With DataHero, it’s as simple as dragging and dropping the data fields and attributes you want to report on, and then filtering or customizing the charts to show what you want from your data. Once you’ve created a series of charts to your satisfaction, you can then group them together in dashboards that you can easily share with others.




In addition, you can also group these charts into custom-branded PDF reports, dashboards with automated data refreshes, or embedded on third party websites, blogs, and wikis.
