It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year since we celebrated DataHero’s second anniversary with copious amounts of skillfully prepared artisanal meat, but here we are celebrating three years of DataHero!
This time last year, we were hard at work incorporating feedback from the thousands of users in DataHero’s public beta, as we improved and refined our product in the run up to DataHero’s public release last December. One year later, DataHero is the leading freemium self-service cloud analytics tool, enabling users from thousands of companies around the world to quickly and easily get answers from more than two dozen leading cloud business services.
Over the past year, we’ve more than doubled our team and added experienced leadership, including our VP of Marketing, Sara Rohlfing (previously of EchoSign, Adobe and Salesgenie), and our VP of Engineering, Toshinari Kureha, who cut his teeth at Oracle, Fortify and Flite.
We’ve announced more than a dozen new partnerships with leading cloud services, including HubSpot, Zendesk, Pardot, and Eventbrite, and continued to innovate with features designed to get you the insights you need fast, like DataHero’s exclusive drag-and-drop cohort analysis, interactive custom dashboards, and no-coding data combinations – which allow you to combine data across all of your services in just a few clicks. And in June, DataHero became the first freemium self-service cloud analytics tool, as we continue to make it even easier for business users to get started understanding their cloud data.
It’s been an incredible year for us, and there’s still more to come before 2014 is done. We’ve got some exciting new partnerships to announce soon and some big features we’ve been hard-at-work on. But for now, we’re taking a well-earned step back to celebrate our journey so far (with fantastic, sustainable sushi from Hiroshi’s Catering).
Jeff and I are incredibly proud of the team at DataHero and all of the hard work and dedication they’ve shown along the way. We wouldn’t have made it this far without each and every one of them and without all of the feedback and support of our amazing customers.
